This family owned seed company is currently seeking an Agronomy Manager to be the primary source of agronomy and product information for their seed reps and customers through a deep knowledge of hybrids, agronomy and adjacent technology including digital platforms in the market. This position will cover a 2 state area in the Midwest.
We are looking for someone with a passion for agronomy and a strong desire to continued knowledge building in the farming industry. Supporting and educating the team of DSM’s with information and expertise and leveraging company resources to help them achieve their goals.
This person will have 5+ years of agronomy experience and a Master’s in Agronomy is preferred. Strong communication skills are necessary as the Agronomy Manager will be in constant contact with the sales team, which demands capabilities to communicate effectively with different personal styles and agronomic capabilities. We expect this person will represent themselves in a professional manner, always being a strong presence as a leader in the company and the communities they work in.
