We are looking for a motivated individual, with fresh ideas and efficient execution to step into this Feed Division Manager role at a Central Iowa Cooperative. This person will direct all aspects of the Feed Division including:
Areas of Focus:
- Develop and implement sales and marketing programs
- Communication within all of the sales and marketing staff
- Coach, train and lead the staff in implementation of plans and goals
- Oversee the administration of the feed department
- Work alongside the management team in preparing the business plan, including budgeting for the feed department, including sales and marketing expenses, operational maintenance and other expenses
- Effectively manage the department with a clear focus on safety practices, customer satisfaction, quality product management, business expertise & financial & asset management
- Prepare and regularly review reports needed to manage the department
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree & 10+years in a management position
- Masters Degree is preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Willing to work a flexible schedule to accommodate the various workloads
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Must have working knowledge of and the ability to merchandise a feed department
- Operation of equipment and facilities
- Proven ability to establish and manage customer relationships
- Feed handling, marketing, quality
- Accounting practices for managing a profitable feed operation
