Job Location: Sioux Center, Iowa

We are seeking a strong leader to fill the position of General Manager for a successful equipment dealer, to build, grow and develop their newest location in NW Iowa!!  This person will have a passion for agriculture and a desire to see success for every farmer that walks through the doors.

Expectations:

*Leads and coaches the team to develop deep customer relationships, resulting in consistent
achievement of profitable sales, market share and growth expectations:
*Achieves expected sales and margins across all departments by ensuring that the team
regularly contacts customers and markets programs including on-farm customer calls, follow-up,
professional in-store customer service, and successful marketing activities and events
*Coaches customer interactions, ensure effective sales calls, in store customer engagement and prospecting in ways that promote positive customer responsiveness, innovation and adaptability
*Engages customers, stays current with area trends, serves as a consulting resource and offers
innovative solutions that meets customer needs:
*Maintains effective relationships with the community (including local lenders, agronomists and
schools)                                                                                                                                                                           *Attracts, leads and develops talent that results in a productive and motivated team
*Effectively communicate company vision, goals and plans, with regular progress update
*Develops the team through the effective use of reviews, employee development plans, training, and the proper use of promotions, rewards and disciplinary tools
*Recruiting and hiring of employees for this location
*Meets and exceeds company location standards including visual appeal, safety, security, cleanliness
and organization and employees

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

*Minimum 5+ years of experience Direct to Farmer Retail Sales Experience in an Ag Industry
*Proven success in Managing Key Customer Accounts
*Successful Management, Leadership, Motivation and Development of an employee group with proven
professional and skill development aptitude and track record
*Demonstrated financial management competency with full P&L responsibility and continuous
improvement
*Must be willing to make a long-term commitment to the Northwest Iowa area, its communities and culture
*Experience dealing with elevated customer issues
*Solid analytical, business planning, problem solving, and communication skills
*College Degree preferred (Business)
