We are working with an equipment dealer in Northwest Iowa to fill a Service Department Manager position. This family owned business has been built on a continued dedication to customer service, honesty and trust and an ongoing desire to build long-lasting relationships with their customers. Duties Include:
- Leadership in all aspects of the business
- Coach and mentor the service department employees in regards to efficiency, productivity and gross margin
- Create and monitor annual service department budget
- Continue to monitor areas of improvement to promote constant efficiency and cost effectiveness
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed within the store
- Customer Service – be aware of customer expectations and customer concerns through constant communication with service team
- Handle warranty claims – including monthly reports on reimbursement to upper management
- Manage scheduling of all service work
- Provide open communication within the service team as well as upper management
- Schedule training and continuing education for all service technicians
- Other management duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous management & leadership experience is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ag Industry experience preferred but not necessary
